Alicante is an ideal place to travel through, walking its roads, parks and beaches.

During the day, its shops and shopping centers present a wide-ranging offer of products. Its gardens, avenues, cinemas and theaters offer a lot of alternatives for leisure in all aspects. To this, add bars and restaurants with rich gastronomy (traditional, Mediterranan, international…) as well as cafes, pubs with terraces and pleasant, tranquil atmospheres across the whole center, the Historic Center, the Esplanade or the Port area.

During the night, the most popular places are El Barrio (historic center), the port (leisure zone) and San Juan beach/golf course.

The historic center, known as El Barrio, spreads around the Concathedral of Saint Nicholas and acquires its maximum charm during the night, when its streets and squares are invaded by a very heterogeneous but extremely jovial crowd that fills the many pubs, bars and inns with a cheerful and light-hearted atmosphere. You can find high-level restaurants as well as quieter places to have a drink.
In some places, with a very suggesting decoration, placed in old houses with attractive façades, we can find live music, especially jazz, and art exhibitions.

Another area of great charm that contrasts the former in its modernity is the Port, where you will find an extraordinary atmosphere marked out by restaurants of great fame, marine pubs, inns, pizzerias, beer pubs, bars, ice-cream parlors and casino.

Their splendid coastal front extends across fifteen kilometers of shore marked out by magnificent beaches, most of them flat and sandy: Playa de la Albufereta, Playa del Saladar Urbanova, Cabo de las Huertas, Playa del Postiguet (city center), Playa de la Almadraba, and Playa de San Juan.
